  Analysis of 5 reasons why diesel engine pump for fire fighting temperature is too high

  diesel engine pump for fire fighting engine cooling adopts a dual-circuit closed-cycle heat exchanger cooling system, which has the advantages of high cooling efficiency and low impact on the ambient temperature of the pump room. The cooling water flow direction is adjusted and controlled by the ball valve from the water pump outlet pipe to the heat exchanger, so that the water temperature of the engine body cooling water is maintained between 85°C and 95°C during operation. If the water temperature is too high, you can increase the opening of the ball valve to increase the heat dissipation capacity of the heat exchanger and reduce the temperature of the engine cooling water; on the contrary, you can close the opening of the ball valve to increase the temperature of the engine cooling water.

  If the diesel engine pump for fire fighting group is an automatic control fire fighting pump group, add a solenoid valve in parallel with the ball valve on the heat transfer pipeline. Under normal circumstances, the solenoid valve is closed, and the cooling water can meet the engine cooling requirements through the gate valve. When the temperature of the engine cooling water exceeds 95℃, the solenoid valve will automatically open to increase the cooling water flow and reduce the engine cooling. For example, if the water temperature of the diesel engine exceeds 95℃ after 20 seconds, the automatic control system will send out an audible and visual alarm and call the staff to check the cause.

  The high temperature of diesel engine pump for fire fighting may be caused by the following:

  1. The diesel engine is overloaded. For this reason, it is necessary to avoid diesel engine high-speed overload operation in the fire pump operation;

  2, the oil radiator is blocked, causing poor heat dissipation;

  3. The position of the oil temperature adjustment switch is improper, and the oil does not pass through the radiator in summer to dissipate heat;

  4. Cylinder leaks, high temperature gas rushes into the oil pan, heating the oil in the oil pan;

  5. The speed of the cooling fan of the air-cooled machine is too low, which reduces the cooling intensity and increases the body temperature of the diesel engine.
