  The inspection and adjustment method of the diesel engine water pump for irrigation is as follows:
  1. For general six-cylinder diesel pumping machines, the inspection and adjustment operations can be completed according to the format of forward and rear row and this cylinder into row.
The specific method is: according to the firing sequence of each cylinder, the intake valve gap can be adjusted for the cylinder number before the firing; the exhaust valve gap can be adjusted for the cylinder number after the firing cylinder, and the intake and exhaust valves of the firing cylinder can be adjusted. ; The intake and exhaust valves of the cylinder with the overlap angle cannot be adjusted.
  2, the method of adjusting twice cranking
   Working along the crankshaft, the steering wheel turns the flywheel so that the cylinder piston is near the top dead center of the compression stroke; the judgment method is the same as the cylinder-by-cylinder adjustment method.
  At this time, it is possible to check and adjust the air valve clearance of each cylinder at the same time for the intake and discharge of the cylinder, the second cylinder, the third cylinder, the fourth cylinder, and the fifth cylinder. After checking and adjusting the air valve clearance of each cylinder in the above row, turn the flywheel 1 for the second time. When the sixth cylinder is at the top dead center of the compression stroke, the intake and exhaust of the sixth cylinder, the intake and the fourth cylinder can be adjusted. The air valve clearance of the row of cylinders, the inlet of the third cylinder, and the exhaust of the second cylinder.
  3. Adjustment method
  Use a Torx wrench and a screwdriver to loosen the lock nut of the adjusting bolt of the rocker arm end. Insert a feeler gauge with the specified air valve clearance thickness between the rocker arm and the head of the air valve stem. Use a screwdriver to turn the adjusting screw while dragging the feeler gauge. When the feeler gauge is moving and feels a little resistance but not too tight, Indicates that the gap value meets the specified requirements. Use a screwdriver to stop the adjusting screw so that it cannot be turned, tighten the lock nut, and then drag the feeler gauge to check whether the tightness changes until it is fully qualified.
4. Cylinder-by-cylinder adjustment method: Turn the flywheel according to the crankshaft's working direction. Pay attention to the push rods of the intake and exhaust valves of the sixth cylinder close to the flywheel. When the two push rods are found to move up and down at the same time, it means that the sixth cylinder is in the intake and exhaust valves. Stop changing cars in the state of overlapping angles. At this time, the cylinder piston is in the process of compression stroke, and the intake and exhaust valves are closed. You can use a feeler gauge to check and adjust the clearance of the cylinder's intake and exhaust valves.
